Valerie joins Apex from SANNE GROUP to continue leading the firm’s growth and performance across the APAC region. Valerie is a qualified Lawyer with a broad range of skills and experience, she is well positioned to lead Apex across APAC and continue to deliver its single-source solution.

Wilber joined Apex in 2010. He has extensive experience in the fund administration industry and has had exposure to all types of offshore fund structures. As Head of the Hong Kong office, he has overall responsibility for Apex’s Hong Kong operations and service delivery, providing direction, support and guidance across sales and operations. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and also holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also holds HKICPA fellowship and, FRM.

Jake is responsible for growing our hedge fund, private equity, and real estate offerings in Hong Kong, as well as our global FX solutions. Previously, he was a relationship manager at Bloomberg, covering over 90 hedge funds and family offices in Hong Kong. He also served as Director and Head of China Cross-Border Sales at BMO Bank of Montreal (in Hong Kong), focusing on FX and fixed income sales for corporations and investors doing business in Mainland China, and institutional investors seeking access to China’s bond market. Outside of our business, Jake has shared his expertise at Tsinghua University, and advised China SOEs, the Canadian Ministry of Finance, the Bank of Canada, as well as the US Department of Treasury on China cross-border trade.
