Valerie joins Apex from SANNE GROUP to continue leading the firm’s growth and performance across the APAC region. Valerie is a qualified Lawyer with a broad range of skills and experience, she is well positioned to lead Apex across APAC and continue to deliver its single-source solution.

Benjamin brings over a decade of experience in the financial sector and currently serves as our Country Head in Singapore. Since joining us in 2022, he has been instrumental in advancing our client relationship management framework and implementing best practices throughout the Asia Pacific region. His responsibilities include overseeing a portfolio that consists of sovereign wealth funds and international managers specialising in hedge funds, private equity, and debt strategies. Benjamin previously worked as a corporate relationship manager at DBS Bank and OCBC Bank, where he provided customised financing solutions, conducted credit assessments, and managed capital markets mandates with a collaborative, client-centered focus.

Jake is responsible for growing our hedge fund, private equity, and real estate offerings in Hong Kong, as well as our global FX solutions. Previously, he was a relationship manager at Bloomberg, covering over 90 hedge funds and family offices in Hong Kong. He also served as Director and Head of China Cross-Border Sales at BMO Bank of Montreal (in Hong Kong), focusing on FX and fixed income sales for corporations and investors doing business in Mainland China, and institutional investors seeking access to China’s bond market. Outside of our business, Jake has shared his expertise at Tsinghua University, and advised China SOEs, the Canadian Ministry of Finance, the Bank of Canada, as well as the US Department of Treasury on China cross-border trade.
